    Se describen morfológicamente las royas (Pucciniales) recolectadas sobre la familia Bignoniaceae en Colombia depositadas en el Museo Micológico de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Medellín. La identificación de las especies se realizó al microscopio de luz, a partir de raspados y cortes a mano alzada del material vegetal afectado.

    In this study, we explored the diversity of culturable bacterial communities residing in hot springs from Araró, México, and analysed the effect of seasonality and related changes in physicochemical parameters of spring water.     Biogeographic regionalization of the Sierra Madre del Sur province, Mexico

    The biogeographic regionalization of the Sierra Madre del Sur province is reviewed, considering recent proposals and applying the International Code of Area Nomenclature to name the 3 subprovinces and 5 districts recognized. The Western Sierra Madre del Sur subprovince, situated in the states of Jalisco, Colima and Michoacán, comprises the Jaliscan and Jaliscan-Manantlán districts. The Central Sierra Madre del Sur subprov. nov., situated in the state of Michoacán, comprises the Michoacán district.
